The Royal College of Midwives is at the heart of the midwifery community, run by midwives and maternity support workers for midwives and maternity support workers.

As both a professional association and a trade union, we are here to support you throughout your professional life. Our organisation has branches in most NHS Trusts and Health Boards across the UK, including the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands. We also collaborate with midwifery societies in universities, helping to support and engage the next generation of midwives.

Our members have exclusive access to great career development opportunities, excellent conferences and events, many of which are free, and support in the workplace. We also work with governments across the UK to influence pay, terms and conditions and the way maternity care is staffed and delivered.
