MSW/MCA celebration day
MSW/MCA celebration day takes place on 24 November 2025.
The focus of the day is on supporting our MSW/MCA members and to share information. The RCM is encouraging all RCM branches and members to work together to host local events in their workplaces. If you have any ideas for your branch speak to your branch officers and activists. For further support please contact your RCM organiser who can provide support for your event.

Caring for You
Focus on Caring for You and organise a MSW/MCA wellbeing together an event.
- Ask your branch members if they know local specialists (masseur, beautician, yoga teacher) who will come and support an event.
- Ask your local beauty college to offer support.
- Provide a well-being gift
Events
You could use your branch funds to host an event for those in your Trust or Health Board. Here are some ideas:
- Webinars: organise an insightful webinar around the key work of the RCM.
- Breakfast meeting
- Lunch and learn event
- Tea party
- Quiz night
- Provide a gift for MSWs/MCAs in your workplace.
Learning
- The RCM may be able to provide a speaker for a number of different topics.
- Contact local specialists, local charities and colleagues with particular interests or hobbies.
Merchandise
The RCM continues to look at ways to become more sustainable and reduce our carbon footprint. Therefore we will not be providing materials on storefront and encourage you to purchase materials from your branch funds.
We advise that merchandise is confirmed and ordered at least six weeks prior to your event to take into account any specific print and delivery requirements. Remember your branch will have a its own RCM logo that can be added to products that you may wish to order. For example badges or stickers that members can wear. Speak to your organiser if you want access to your branch logo.
Shop local to support local business and shop sustainable to support our planet. Ensure you use the RCM brand on all products and templates
