Join the Midwives-in-Training Research and Journal Review Club for a session exploring how you can support compassionate bereavement care.
In this instalment we are joined by Laura Atherton, Operational Manager at the Milk Bank in Chester and Bereavement Lead on the Memory Milk Gift initiative, and Sara Balmforth, Perinatal Midwife at Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
Their session ‘Transforming Grief into Legacy’ will look at the importance of recognising the significance of lactation within bereavement, supporting parental choices and contributing to individualised bereavement care.
The event, which is hosted by Michelle McKay, will involve a presentation, discussion with fellow students, and a Q&A session with Laura and Sara.
