Overview

Branch Officer training is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to be an effective union representative. Whether you are new to the role or looking to refresh your existing skills, this course will help you understand the key responsibilities of a branch officer and strengthen your ability to support members.

Throughout the programme, you will develop practical organising and communication skills, learn how to build a stronger and more active branch, and gain tools and techniques that you can apply immediately in your role. You will also benefit from the experience of fellow branch officers, sharing ideas, best practice and solutions to common workplace challenges.
