Overview

You will be booked onto the next available introductory training course once you have been accredited. If you have any queries, please email wprtraining@rcm.org.uk

An essential introductory course for all new or less experienced stewards. The course will have pre course work to be completed prior to the first day.

The course includes:

  • the role and legal rights of a RCM steward
  • how to access support and information
  • a general overview of employment relations in the NHS
  • dealing with members’ problems at work
  • negotiating on behalf of members
