Overview

Join Cavell for a focused and practical session designed to equip RCM Activists with the knowledge and tools to support RCM members in need. As the RCM’s charity, Cavell provides vital support to midwives, student midwives, and maternity support workers facing personal or financial hardship. This webinar will give you a clear understanding of what we offer, who is eligible, and how to confidently refer members for support.

We’ll bust common myths, walk through our application process, and introduce you to our Support Hub — a space for emotional support, money guidance, and other resources available to all midwifery staff, even if they don’t qualify for a grant. You’ll learn what we can help with (from rent arrears to fleeing domestic abuse), how we assess need, and how you, as an activist, can play a vital role in ensuring members get timely, appropriate support. This is an essential session for any activist who wants to make a real difference in their workplace.
