Making Numbers Count in Practice is about general numeracy skills but, more specifically, the application of numeracy in the workplace.
The course begins with some basic mathematical skills and points to resources that will help you revise these skills. It then moves on to more specific numeracy skills as required in the workplace and provides resources and practice in a range of drug calculations and scenarios.
This i-learn module on basic numeracy skills initially provides links to resources to support you in developing basic mathematical skills. At the end of the module you will:
- have an understanding of the importance of numeracy skills in the workplace
- have practised numeracy skills with a focus on basic drug calculations
This module contains a short video and some animations.
