This module will provide information and knowledge about inflammatory bowel disease and the impact this may have on pregnancy for women living with this long term condition.

It will provide an overview of what inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is and the symptoms often associated with it and explain the differences between IBD and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).It will also explore the ways in which IBD can affect pregnancy and how pregnancy can affect IBD. Considerations needed for women living with IBD during pregnancy will be discussed
