Maternity reviews

The Royal College of Midwives is closely following all major reviews into maternity and neonatal services across England. This area brings together our responses, statements, and resources as each review publishes its findings. We will update links regularly as new material becomes available.

Every review points to the same underlying issue: maternity services are chronically understaffed and under-resourced. Find out more about our Safe Staffing = Safe Care campaign and what we are calling on the Government to do.
