This is an insightful and practical webinar, focusing on the crucial topic of iron deficiency anaemia in pregnancy. This session will explore how this common condition can affect both mothers and babies, what it feels like for pregnant women, and how it can be effectively identified, managed, and treated.
We’ll cover the physiological changes in pregnancy that increase iron demands, the clinical signs and symptoms to look for, and the potential risks if anaemia is left untreated. We’ll also discuss preventative and treatment options, including dietary advice, iron supplementation, and when to escalate care.
