On Monday 11 August the government announced their Graduate Guarantee for Midwifery students in England, promising £8M additional funding to ensure all qualifying midwives can secure their first role.

Implementation of this will be at local level and RCM reps will need to be involved with their local leaders ensuring the scheme delivers on the ground .
