This module, the Midwife in Contemporary Practice explores the role of the midwife and MSW as lifelong learners and considers the skills and knowledge needed to meet the challenges of practice. It also explores the importance of developing communication and assertiveness skills together with the importance of being a strong advocate for the woman and the profession.
