Overview

Breast cancer and breast changes during pregnancy and beyond.

Whilst diagnosis of breast cancer in pregnancy is rare, up to 1 in 3,000 pregnant women may be diagnosed with breast cancer during their pregnancy or up to two years after delivery. That means over 200 women a year in the UK. Pregnant women diagnosed with breast cancer are also doubly likely to be diagnosed at stage 4 than the general population.

That’s why, at CoppaFeel!, we provide training and information for midwives. To ensure people who are pregnant or breastfeeding are educated on breast awareness during this time, and beyond.

This webinar will cover:

ā— Information about pregnancy-associated breast cancer
ā— Breast cancer statistics and outcomes
ā— Natural breast changes during pregnancy and breastfeeding
ā— Common breast problems
ā— The signs of breast cancer and guidance on how to check
ā— How you can promote breast awareness in your role
ā— Free information and resources from CoppaFeel!
