Revalidation: an introduction
Revalidation is the process by which nurses, midwives and nursing associates maintain their registration with the NMC and are eligible to practise. This module uses animation, short video clips and interactive activities to explore revalidation, what midwives need to do to maintain their effective registration and how the RCM, i-learn and i-folio can help you with this process.
At the end of the module you will:
- Ā Ā Ā Understand the process of revalidation and what you need to submit to the NMC
- Ā Ā Ā Demonstrate how reflective practice impacts on professional development and revalidation
- Ā Ā Ā Be able to develop a collection of evidence in i-folio to support your revalidation
- Ā Ā Ā Know where to go for further information
Study time: 40 minutes (includes a 6-minute animation and two 1-minute videos)
