Many women who are obese when they become pregnant have no problems in pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby. However we do know that heavier women are more at risk of pregnancy complications than women who are a healthy weight. This module looks at the issues affecting obese women in pregnancy and provides opportunities for reflection and consolidation of learning through a variety of activities.
