MaternityPEARLS covers perineal repair and suturing and is entirely video based.  The course is made up of seven sections and is delivered in a different format to the usual i-learn courses in order that it can be viewed on tablets as well as PCs and laptops.

This online resource is based on the work of the perineal assessment repair longitudinal study (PEARLS)  funded by the Health Foundation.  This work identified a a number of training issues and variations in practice and this resource was designed to address these issues.
