The Role
As Chief Membership Officer/Deputy General Secretary, you will provide strategic leadership to enhance engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the RCM continues to thrive as a membership organisation, fostering participation and activism across the UK. Reporting directly to the CEO/General Secretary/Chief Midwife, you will:

We are looking for a visionary leader with:
ā Proven experience in membership engagement, organising, and participation strategies.
ā A track record of successful recruitment and retention initiatives.
ā Strong strategic planning and leadership experience at a senior level.
ā Financial acumen, including budget planning and resource management.
ā The ability to influence and engage stakeholders across a profession and beyond.
