International day of the midwife
How will you be celebrating IDM 2025?
IDM takes place on 5 May and is an occasion for every midwife to think about the many others in the profession, to make new contacts within and outside midwifery, and to widen the knowledge of what midwives do for the world.
The RCM is encouraging all RCM branches, Midsocs and members to work together to host local events in their workplaces.
The theme for this year is ‘Midwives: critical in every crisis.’
If you have any ideas for your branch/society celebration, in the first instance speak to your branch officers and activists. For further support please contact your RCM organiser who can provide support for your event.
