Overview

In the most recent PRB report, the Government was brought to task over the failure to fund much needed reforms to the Agenda for Change pay structure and urged to ensure this was funded this year.Ā  Funding has been promised and initial exploratory talks held and this session will talk activists through the aims of structural pay reform and how RCM members might benefit. Key points to be covered are:

  • How do we keep NHS roles clear of the NMW pay floor
  • How can Band 3 roles be made more attractive?
  • What is an attractive pay rise on promotion and how do we achieve this

Joanne Kaye (Interim Director of Employment Relations) and Emma Jenkinson (RCM’s new and permanent Director of Employment Relations) will talk you through pay reform and answer any questions you have.
