Quarterly delivery of a print or electronic copy of the MIDIRS Midwifery Digest – containing evidence-based original articles and reprints, clinical reflections, practice improvements and opinion pieces.
Maternity and Infant Care (MIC) database
Access to the largest midwifery research database in the world. Updated daily and currently contains over 300,000 abstracts.
MIDIRS Search Packs
Free downloads of 550+ pre-packaged Search Packs; pre-made literature searches on specific topics within maternity research.
Latest Research Update
Weekly selection of abstracts added to the MIC database. The Latest Research Update can be accessed from your account portal.

Discounted rates for global midwives
The ICM have partnered with the RCM to ensure that individuals across the world can access MIDIRS resources at a discounted price. We know how difficult international payment can be in some countries so we are offering midwives a way of joining through your education or hospital institutions.
Midwives from specific countries can now get a subscription to MIDIRS for either £10 or £20 annually. Please see the map below for a visual demonstration of our global pricing structure, and read our comprehensive guide on how the initiative works.
