Overview

This course is for reps who have completed there introductory course at least 1 year prior to attending. You are expected to have undertaken risk assessments, had meetings with your HoM/DoM and be able to speak about successes in your workplace. You will undertake group discussions, reflective activities and role plays.

Topics will include:

  • Violence in the workplace
  • Sexual harassment
  • Organising a campaign
  • Overtime
  • Employers legal responsibilities
  • Members rights

 

Criteria to attend

  • Completed introductory training at least one year prior to start of specialist course.
  • If you have completed your introductory course from September 2024 onwards you will of need to have completed the project and submitted it.
