EON3: Physical examination of each system is the third course in the Examination of the Newborn series of four courses. It includes sequence of the examination, observation, palpation, auscultation, general appearance and morphological examination, examination of each system and genetic and chromosomal abnormalities.

After working through EON2 (and based on the knowledge you have already gained from formal study) you will:

• understand the sequence of the examination
• what to look for in the general appearance of the baby
• what to look for in the major systems

This i-learn module contains a number of videos most of which are under 2 minutes in length.  There is one video lecture of 30 minutes.
